Celebrating 20 Years of Care: Tracy’s Journey with Atwal Eye Care 

In September 2005, Tracy began her career with Atwal Eye Care. What started as a job opportunity quickly turned into a passion and a career that has spanned two decades, and counting.

Tracy’s journey into eye care began almost by accident. After moving back to the Buffalo area from Rochester, she was looking for a new role and accepted a receptionist position at a local office. It didn’t take long for her to realize she was exactly where she was meant to be. The doctor she worked with at the time encouraged her to train as a technician, setting her on the path she still follows today.

When Tracy joined Atwal Eye Care, she was hired as an Ophthalmic Technician. With hard work and dedication, she was soon promoted to LASIK Supervisor, a role where she thrives helping patients transform their lives through clearer vision.

So, what has kept Tracy here for 20 years? The answer is simple — family.

“We are a family. I love the people I work with.” 

That sense of connection extends beyond her colleagues. Tracy recalls a memory of a patient who was so grateful for the care he received that he returned with his entire family just to introduce them to her. “To know that you made a difference… it truly is amazing,” she reflects.

And of course, there’s nothing quite like the moment a patient sits up after LASIK, free from glasses for the first time, and sees the world in a whole new way. Tracy hopes for “many more memories” with Atwal Eye Care.
