Excellence in Action: Honoring Liz Noblett at Atwal Eye Care
At Atwal Eye Care, excellence isn’t just something we talk about. It’s something we recognize. This year, we are proud to shine the spotlight on Elizabeth (Liz) Noblett, our “Eye on Excellence Award” recipient for February 2026.
Liz has been part of the Atwal family for almost two years, beginning her journey as a Surgical Counselor before stepping into her current role as Surgical Coordinator. Her growth within the organization reflects her dedication, reliability and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Her transition into this leadership role has allowed her to further strengthen what she does best – ensuring every surgical patient feels fully supported throughout their experience.
When asked how it feels to be recognized with this award, Liz shared:
“It feels very rewarding to be recognized for the work I put in every day. I truly care about helping our patients feel prepared and supported, so this acknowledgement means a lot and motivates me to keep giving my best.”
She admits she isn’t completely sure why she was nominated, but if you ask us, it’s easy to see why. Her calm and compassionate presence make a tremendous impact on both our patients and our surgical team.
For her, being part of Atwal Eye Care means something bigger than a job.
“Working for Atwal means being part of a team that genuinely prioritizes patient care.”
She highlights the surgical team as one of the best parts of her role. From them being supportive and collaborative to always willing to jump in when needed. That spirit of teamwork is what allows Atwal to deliver the exceptional experience Atwal patients expect.
Liz is excited about the future.
“I look forward to continuing to grow, strengthening my skills and contributing even more to our patients’ experience. I am excited to keep building my future here.”
That drive to grow is exactly what the Eye on Excellence Award represents; team members who don’t just show up, but who continually elevate the level of care we provide across Western New York.
“Everyone deserves to have access to eye care and to see clearly,” she says.
When she’s not coordinating surgeries and supporting patients, Liz’s world revolves around her wiener dog, who, by her own admission, “definitely thinks he’s the main character.” She also enjoys staying active and spending meaningful time with loved ones.
