In Focus: Meet Tristyn Carpenter, Our August Employee of the Month
At Atwal Eye Care, exceptional patient care starts with exceptional people. We’re proud to put the spotlight on Tristyn Carpenter, our “In Focus Employee of the Month” for August!
Tristyn has been part of the Atwal Eye Care family for just over two years, serving as an ophthalmic assistant and currently preparing to take the next step in her career by testing for her Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification.
For Tristyn, working in eye care also has a special personal connection.
She started wearing glasses early in life and was able to correct a somewhat severe case of amblyopia. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of just how much vision, and having access to the right correction, can impact a person’s quality of life.
Today, she gets to help provide that same kind of meaningful care to the patients who walk through the doors of Atwal Eye Care.
While eye care is highly clinical, Tristyn understands that the way a patient feels during their visit matters, too.
“I really enjoy providing quality patient service that amplifies the time patients spend in our offices,” she said.
That commitment to creating a positive patient experience is just one of the many reasons Tristyn has become such a valued member of the Atwal Eye Care team.
When asked what makes Atwal Eye Care special, her answer was simple – the people!
“The amazing team,” she said. “Good coworkers make the magic.”
Tristyn takes patient care seriously, but she also knows there’s always room for a little fun. She says her coworkers probably know her best for being quick to the punch with a good joke, bringing plenty of personality and laughter to the workday.
Being selected as the Employee of the Month is especially meaningful to her.
“I truly appreciate the recognition; it makes me feel as though my efforts are appreciated!” Tristyn shared.
