Frames

Eyeglass frames can truly reflect who you are as an individual. Is your style funky? Preppy? Sporty? Trendy? Conservative?

Whatever your personal style, we offer a large variety of designer eyeglass frames as well as frames for more budget-conscious individuals. Our experienced opticians can make suggestions on frame styles and colors that will complement your face shape, skin tone and lifestyle. They will also help you decide which frames will fit best on your face and provide the smallest possible pressure on your nose and ears within the lens prescription you have.

We invite you to visit the Atwal Eye Care Optical Shop to try on our different brands to find the perfect frame for you:

Contact Lenses

We offer a wide range of contact lens options to meet your vision requirements, lifestyle and even your fashion sense. Our experienced opticians can help you find the best lens options for comfort and clarity:

  • Bifocal or multifocal lenses
  • Colored or special-effect contacts
  • Daily disposable lenses
  • Extended wear soft lenses
  • Toric lenses for astigmatism
  • Rigid, gas permeable lenses
  • Scleral lenses to help heal damaged corneas
  • Lenses for dry eye
  • Lenses for keratoconus

Tips for Contact Lens Care

To avoid eye infection, proper contact lens hygiene is very important. We recommend following these steps when caring for your lenses:

  • Wash your hands before putting in your contacts
  • Use high quality lens cleaning solutions to clean your contacts after each use; do not reuse cleaning solution as it may contain bacteria
  • Do not use your own saliva, tap water or chlorinated water to clean your lenses; these unsterile water sources may contain bacteria
  • Wash your lens case regularly with cleaning solution and allow it to dry before closing it
  • Only sleep in extended wear contacts
  • Replace your lens case every three months to avoid bacteria build-up
  • Don’t wear contacts if your eyes are irritated or if the contact appears damaged; this can lead to infection or a scratched cornea

Protect Your Vision with Sunglasses & Safety Glasses

Glasses can not only help you see more clearly; they can also help protect your eyes from ultraviolet rays, work hazards and injury during sports.

  • 20,000 workplace eye injuries every year
  • 40,000 adults and children suffer eye injuries during sports every year
  • 90% of sporting and workplace eye injuries could be avoided if workers wore certified eye protection or sports glasses

At Atwal Eye Care, we want to help you protect your vision during any type of activity. We carry a variety of prescription or non-prescription glasses:

  • Polarized sunglasses that block 99-100% of UV-A and UV-B radiation
  • Computer lenses to reduce glare

  • Safety goggles and glasses with high impact resistance
  • Sports glasses with polycarbonate lenses

These specialty lenses can help protect against:

  • Sunburn of the eye (photokeratitis)
  • Infections
  • Trauma from penetration
  • Projectiles
  • Grease splatters
  • Chemicals or radiation
  • Computer vision syndrome/digital eye strain

More Reasons to Wear Proper Sunglasses

Excessive exposure to ultraviolet rays may lead to increased risk of developing:

  • Cataracts
  • Macular degeneration
  • Retina damage
  • Eyelid skin cancer
  • Facial wrinkles

Our experienced team of opticians can help you find the right type of lenses and frames to protect your vision and fit your lifestyle. Contact us today at 716-896-8831 to learn more about glasses and contact lenses in Buffalo, NY.
